I worked all day. It has
been a cold day + it snowed a
little to-day. I went over to
the church to choir rehearsal.
I made out my time this
evening.

I worked all day. I have
not felt very good to-day, so I
am going to bed early. It has
been a cold day + has
snowed some to-day.

I worked all day. It has
snowed some to-day + the
wind has blew hard + was like
a blizzard at times all day.

January 28, 1929

I worked all day. It has been
a nice day but real cold. Mother
has washed to-day. It is snow-
ing some out this evening. I worked
some on my fancy work.

January 27, 1929

I went out to church this
morning+ evening + staid to Sun-
day School. It has been a very
cold day. The sun has shone all
day. I had to lay down for about
two hours this after-noon as I
felt so tired.

January 26, 1929

I did not have to go to work
over to the factory this morning.
I went down to Mr. Coburn's this
morning to have my hair cut. I
went up to see Jennie, Louis + the
baby for a little while. Grace + I
went up town this afternoon. I
had my hair marcelled this afternoon.

January 25, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been a stormy day. It has
rained, hailed, + snowed at
times all day. I shoveled off
the walks after I got home from
work. Grace helped me wash
my hair this evening.

January 24, 1929

I worked all day. It
has been a cold day. I went
over to the church to choir
rehearsal this evening. I made
out my time before supper.

January 23, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been a nice day but quite cold.
It looked pretty out this morn-
ing as we had a light fall of
snow last night. Sylvia + Ernest
came up for a little while this
evening.

January 22, 1929

I worked all day. I have not
felt very good all day so I am
going to bed early. I helped
Grace wash her hair this
evening. Mother went up town
this afternoon and than went
down to see Jennie + the baby.

January 21, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been a nice day, but quite
cold. I went out this evening
with Louise Kimble. Ruth
Burley was married this
evening to Mr. Cantwell.

January 20, 1929

I went out to church this
morning + evening +staid to S.S..
It has been a nice day. The
wind blows quite cold.

January 19, 1929

I worked around home nearly
all day.  Grace + I went up town
later this afternoon. It has been
quite a nice day + not very cold.
Grace + I went down to call
on Mr. + Mrs. Wightman this even
-ing.

January 18, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been warm to-day as the ice
has all thawed off the walks +
I guess everyone is thankful.
I went down to see Jennie. The
baby is a little better. I stopped
at Mr. Coburn's to have a neck trim.
I called on his wife this evening.

January 17, 1929

I worked all day. It has snow-
ed + rained to-day, and it is
very bad walking, as it is icy
on the side walks. I went out
to choir rehearsal this evening.
I made out my time this even-
ing.

January 16, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been quite a nice day. I went
out to prayer meeting with Grace
+ Louise Kimble this evening.
Jennie's baby has the measles.
He is not very sick.

January 15, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been a nice day but it has
been quite cold.  Grace went
down to the hospital to see
Mable Eltz this evening. She had
an operation a week ago. She is gett-
ing along fine. Sylvia was up for
a little while this evening.

January 14, 1929

I worked all day but have
not had very good work. Mother
has worked to-day. It has been
a cold winters day. Grace + I
went down to call on Mr. and Mrs.
Wisner this evening. Mrs. Wisner
has been sick with a cold but
she is feeling some better.

January 13, 1929

I went out to church this
morning + evening and staid to
S.S. It snowed some this morn-
ing, but got very cold this
afternoon. The wind blows so
strong + cold out this evening.
Miss House came to call on us
this afternoon.

January 12, 1929

I worked around home all
day. This evening I went down
to Johnson City and bought myself
a new pair of brown slippers also two
pair of silk hose + a new pair of
rain boots.  Harold and Bessie were
here to  supper.

January 11, 1929

I worked all day. It has
been quite a cold day. I
went down to see Jennie this
evening. The baby has been
sick this week. I stopped at
Mr. Coburn's to have my hair cut.

had very poor work.  It has
been another cold winters day.

afternoon. Mother went up town

I worked all day but have not
had very good work. It has
been a cold windy day. Mrs. Margaret
Warwick died this morning. She
lives on our street and we liked
her so much. She had been sick
only one week. I feel so sorry
for her husband.

January 6, 1929

I went out to church this
morning + evening + staid
to SS. I sung in the choir at both
services. I think I shall enjoy it.
Rev. Mr Dodd preached two
fine sermons to-day. How happy I
am to think I am trying to lead
a Christian life each day.

January 5, 1929

I worked around home all
day. It was cold this morning
but it got warmer + rained
hard this evening. I had my hair
marcelled late this afternoon.
Mrs. Sherwood curled my hair.

have had very poor work. It has

been a cold day.  Marion came
up + I went with her over to the
church to choir rehearsal. I am going
to sing in the choir for awhile. I had
to sing the pieces over after I
came home. I made out my time

meeting with Grace

To-day is New Year's day.
I worked in the factory
all day. I have not had very
good work to-day. I have not
felt very good to-day. It has
